Lloydminster Citizens On Patrol

Lloydminster Citizens On Patrol was founded in 1999 and is still going strong today. Our members are volunteers from our community and come from all different walks of life.

Working in conjunction with the local RCMP and City of Lloydminster, we work towards a common goal of keeping an active presence within our community.  Our members do not engage with or pursue anyone involved in criminal activities, instead our members are trained to spot suspicious activities and surroundings, document and report as needed. We create awareness of our presence with highly visible Lloydminster Citizens on Patrol vehicles around residential, commercial and industrial areas which helps to dissuade those with possible criminal intentions. 

Our organization also has several programs we are currently running successfully such as our Safe Rides Home program to help our citizens have an option at their events to have us provide safe rides home to them and their guests.

In 2023, we've also started our new Speedwatch program! With our new speed sign at schools, parks and other areas around our community, we hope to help drivers become more aware of their speeds and help make those areas safer for everyone!
